Can the CASCADIA 20 handle asphalt? Yes. The CASCADIA 20 can handle shorter stretches on asphalt or transitions between trail routes. However, if you run mostly on the road, the GHOST 18 will be a more natural choice.
Is the GHOST 18 suitable for gravel? Yes, it is for paved roads and lighter gravel. However, as the terrain becomes more technical, rocky or muddy, the CASCADIA 20 will offer significantly better grip, stability and protection.
Which shoe is better for longer runs? Both are suitable for longer runs, but each in different environments. The GHOST 18 is best for longer road training, while the CASCADIA 20 makes more sense for longer trail runs and off-road adventures.
